Are you looking for a fun and engaging way to unlock your child's musical potential? Look no further than a ukulele extracurricular program with Strum Squad! Serving Southwestern Ontario, Strum Squad offers group classes during lunch/nutrition break for students in grades 1-6 right in their own elementary schools.

What sets Strum Squad apart from other music education programs is its focus on teaching ukulele fundamentals in a way that keeps students excited and motivated. The program aims to teach age-appropriate pop songs to not only educate but also entertain and motivate the young learners to continue practicing at home.

As opposed to the traditional method of focusing on music theory and classical repertoire, we focus on learning the chords to play popular songs that the students will be excited about- leaving a lasting impact on their musical ability.

Classes are conveniently held during nutrition break, making it easy for students to participate without any extra hassle from the parents during evenings or weekends.

"Welcome to the Strum Squad!" is the chant we open each introductory lesson with. We are proud to bring together a music community of students within each school we serve and the children leave each lesson feeling like they truly are a part of a band where lasting friendships are formed.
